South Middlesex Opportunity Council – Framingham, MA
BWK Construction Co., Inc. served as the General Contractor for the renovation of Larry’s Place, which provides housing and transitional services for homeless veterans. The design team was led by Fine Associates with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes of work being performed on a design / build basis. The exterior envelope of the 100-year-old building required extensive replacement of deteriorated assemblies, while the basement received a perimeter drain / sump pump system and structural reinforcement. The first floor is fully accessible via a ramp system with an HCP complaint bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. BWK Construction has been honored to collaborate with the South Middlesex Opportunity Council as they strive to provide a stable environment for those who have courageously served our country.
