BWK Construction served as the General Contractor for the historically sensitive exterior renovation of the historic Cooley House. The basement bump out was demolished in its entirety and re-built under existing columns. The structural columns had to be temporarily supported until the masonry was built up below them. A new ornamental wrought iron railing system was installed to resemble the original railing. Copper was installed at the bottom of the columns and around the top of the new addition.
