North Suffolk Mental Health – Winthrop, MA
BWK completes new 4,500 SF group home for North Suffolk Mental Health, located at 225 Pleasant Street, Winthrop, MA.
This eight unit home was designed and built to house eight mentally-challenged adults. The design considered wheelchair and bedridden people by having 4’-2” wide custom doors, ceiling supports system for wheelchair-to-bed access and several other features for handicap accessibility. The exterior has a roof galloway which blends in with the ocean view of Winthrop Harbor.
